Nothing is better than feeling confident with your purchase—especially when you are buying something as life-changing as a home. And knowledge inspires confidence. That’s why Next Generation Signature Homes is proud to reveal the nationally-recognized HERS ratings on all of their homes.
What is HERS?
HERS is an energy score that measures homes based on their energy performance. A lower HERS rating equals a more energy-efficient home.
HERS was developed by the Residential Energy Services Network (RESNET), and it is nationally recognized. The score allows you to compare homes based on their energy scores and identify energy-efficient homes.
Why does HERS matter?
The excellent news for buyers is that you can then buy your home with a better idea of the environmental impact and the cost of energy. Aside from a mortgage loan, the highest cost a homeowner encounters is energy. If you purchase a home with a low HERS Index rating, you can be confident you are saving money and reducing your impact on the environment.
