At Springbank of Plainfield, we feel fortunate that our residents have access to 74 parks encompassing 1,400 acres, an equestrian center, an outdoor pool (in addition to the incredible Springbank Aquatic Center), and recreation centers. This is all thanks to the incredible Plainfield Park District, which does and amazing job at entertaining families and bringing the community of Plainfield together.

Throughout the year, the park district offers events for residents of all ages. Your family will love the holiday-themed events like:

• September: Festival of Crafts, Autumn Family Fun Fest, and the Plainfield Harvest 5K Run/Walk and Kidz Miler
• October: How-To Fair, Frankenstein’s Kiddie Carnival, and Haunted Pony Rides.
• November: Mother/Son Date Night, Minion Extravaganza, and Visit with Santa.

Throughout the year they also offer dance, day camps, and sports leagues for kids, as well as tons of fun events and regular activities for seniors. Facilities include a Splash Pad, Bike Park, three Dog Parks, a Skate Park, Fishing Docks, Canoe Access, Frisbee Golf, and three Sledding Hills for getting the most out of winter.

Within the neighborhoods of Springbank of Plainfield, the Park District offers a space that includes a Tot Lot in every neighborhood. Some of the Springbank Park District areas also include half-court basketball and a gazebo.
